December 2009

Our newsletter for the fall season has been ready for some time. I was able to post it on our website, last month.  It has not gone out by snail mail because of a couple factors. First our printer friend was backed up and running behind in getting it back to us. Then my computer’s motherboard went dead. In the research to replace it, found out that since the processor was an older one, so it is obsolete. Which means replace the motherboard and processor. Meanwhile I’m using Kenny’s laptop.

Kenny’s laptop doesn’t have all the information I needed to mail the newsletter out. So I’m catching up on all that. The newsletter will be on its way soon. This email is a sort of update and a test. I had an older email address list on a backup file so some of the email addresses may not work anymore.

Since we can now post the newsletter on our website, I will be sending a reminder email to let everyone know it is ready. Once on the website you can read it or print it out and read it later. If we have your current email address you will get a reminder with a link to download it, instead of a hard copy in the mail. UNLESS you notify us. Let us know you still want to receive the newsletter by snail mail and you’ll continue to get it.

It’s been kind of rough on us this year financially. In fact it’s been the tightest it’s ever been since we first went into ministry. But we are still in God’s care and doing His work. We depend on Him for everything and do what we have to do to in order to serve Him. Our contentment is not dependant on the world’s circumstances. We are successful in Him as long as we stay obedient to His call.

We are home until the 2010. While home we’ve been working with our home church. We just had a community outreach for the holidays and we’ll start having home bible studies soon.

We want to wish everyone a very blessed Christmas and a prosperous New Year. We see things wide open for ministry opportunities in this coming New Year. It is an exciting time to be alive because the time is closer and closer for the Lord’s coming.
